It all began with one man’s dream– preserving the beauty of Mequon for future generations. Ten years later that dream is shaping into a reality and thousands of people each year are connecting to natural flora and fauna and learning about the power of nature through the Mequon Nature Preserve, a one-square mile piece of land.

The preservation of such pristine prairie land is just one of the ways in which the Foundation and its donors have worked to improve the quality of life in Ozaukee County over the years. We’ve also helped local organizations increase educational opportunities for area youth, provide outreach to domestic and sexual assault victims and keep older adults connected to their community.

One hundred and forty individuals in Ozaukee County have created funds with us and we are honored to be able to help them carry out their philanthropy to benefit the community and beyond.
