Milwaukee, WI – March 2014– A total of $145,000 is available to support nonprofits in the Oconomowoc area through the Oconomowoc Area Foundation’s 2014 grantmaking cycle.

The foundation supports organizations with projects that primarily serve residents of the Oconomowoc Area School District, including all of Summit, or Wales, Dousman, Ottawa or Nashotah. The deadline to apply is May 30.

A meeting about the application process, which includes tips on how to prepare strong grant proposals, will be held March 25 at 8:30 a.m. at the YMCA at Pabst Farms, 1750 E. Valley Road in Oconomowoc. First-time applicants are strongly encouraged to attend.
