Educating Our Youngest Learners
- Early childhood education is built from trust among staff, educators, parents and children, and having consistent connections goes a long way toward supporting a child’s learning immediately and in the future
- Closing the achievement gap will not be possible until adequate financial resources are provided, especially for educator pay, since the biggest challenge is not having enough human capital
- Advocates can lobby legislators as early childhood education issues take center stage, because philanthropic support alone is not enough to create a system for children and families. Government support is critical
