By providing water, recreation, commerce, beauty and much more, Lake Michigan has had a profound impact on the thousands of people, plants and animals that live near it.
The Fund for Lake Michigan is focused on making a profound impact on the lake’s health and that of the surrounding communities by supporting programs and projects that seek to restore and protect the quality of this treasured resource. Since it was created in 2010, the fund has made more than $15 million in grants to nonprofits and local governmental agencies in southeastern Wisconsin.
