ThriveOn King artists talk honoring Bronzeville’s past with pieces for the present

As renovations continue at ThriveOn King, which is the future home of the Foundation’s new office space, over 20 selected artists are completing their pieces for the first floor community hub. The artworks honor Bronzeville’s past, future and present and reflect residents’ desire for the ThriveOn Collaboration to support the community’s rich heritage of arts and culture. Milwaukee Succeeds project offers providers support on accreditation journey

To increase the number of high-quality early childhood education seats in the area, Milwaukee Succeeds and 4C for Children launched the Accreditation Facilitation Project. The project helps early childhood care and education providers navigate the national accreditation process, which can result in more public funding, stability and opportunities for growth for providers, while increasing the level of quality care for Milwaukee’s littlest learners.

Business support cohort yields collaboration and growth opportunities

Small business owners are accustomed to doing things on their own, but the ThriveOn Business Support Cohort gives them an opportunity to collaborate and seek support. Originating with the ThriveOn Economic Opportunity Workgroup, the cohort provides technical assistance and engagement to businesses in the Historic King Drive BID. Businesses include Spinn MKE, INPOWER, MLK EDC and more.

Greater Milwaukee Foundation extends heartfelt welcome to new Board members
