Our impact on the community is powered by the generosity of nearly 1,200 donors who have created funds at the Foundation. Since our inception, we have given grants to nonprofits locally, nationally and around the world to support education, art, community development, the environment and a wide range of issues.

The Foundation manages 1,231 funds with a total value of $841 million in assets.* Forty three percent of our are funds are donor advised where donors recommend the grants.

Though donors can support the cause or charity of their choice, our Foundation’s quarterly competitive grant process focuses on the following four areas:

Governance

The Foundation is led by a 13-member Board comprised of leaders from the greater Milwaukee area.
