The Greater Milwaukee Foundation seeks to support voter mobilization partnerships in the following neighborhoods: Harambee, Brewer’s Hill, Halyard Park, North Division, Sherman Park East, Clarke Square, Metcalfe Park, and Muskego Way. Given the importance of reliable and trustworthy information about the vital civic action of voting, the Foundation is entertaining proposals for support of partnerships to provide these efforts in the aforementioned neighborhoods in Milwaukee. Successful applicants will have specific and written agreements with organizations that have standing and relationships in these neighborhoods and bring to the table experience and skills in successfully helping neighborhood residents with the process of voting and voter education about the issues that most matter to them and to the neighborhoods in which they reside.

A total of $50,000 is available from the Foundation to support these partnerships. Nonprofit organizations seeking support should be 501(c)3 nonprofits with clear partnership agreements in place with organizations that directly serve and/or work with neighborhood-based nonprofit organizations in the neighborhoods listed in this announcement and should request the amount of financial support necessary to make their plans actionable and successful per their program goals and objectives.
